GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT TKT
TKT – is a test for future teachers as well as the ones who want to improve their skills.
Receiving this international certificate will give you more confidence in your professional skills and knowledge; it will also give the opportunity to verify your competence to work in any country in the world.
The course will be held by our qualified teachers and native speakers, who passed the test and are familiar with its concept & special features.

Module I Background to language teaching
This module tests your knowledge of the terms and concepts of English language teaching. It focuses on the factors underpinning the learning of English.
TKT: Module 1 has one paper. It lasts 80 minutes and has 80 questions. The test is divided into three parts:
— describing language and language skills (40 questions)
— background to language learning (15 questions)
— background to language teaching (25 questions).
Module II Planning for language teaching
This module focuses on the knowledge and skills you need to plan a lesson or a series of lessons.
This module also refers to assessment and focuses on resources that can guide you in your lesson planning.
TKT: Module 2 has one paper. It lasts 80 minutes and has 80 questions.
The test is divided into two parts:
— planning and preparing a lesson or a sequence of lessons (40 questions)
— selection and use of resources (40 questions).
Module III Classroom management
This module tests:
— knowledge of what happens in the classroom during language learning
— the teacher’s role in classroom management
— methods used to manage and make the most of interactions in the classroom.
TKT: Module 3 has one paper. It lasts 80 minutes and has 80 questions.
The test is divided into two parts:
— teachers’ and learners’ language in the classroom (40 questions)
— classroom management (40 questions)
REGISTRATION FOR TKT
TKT preparation course and test dates are planned by your official centre. The course itself is based on the Cambridge English exam specifications.
You can register for TKT paper-based test up to six weeks before you wish to take it, or as little as one week before if you choose to take a computer-based test.
TKT RESULTS
You will receive a certificate for each module taken.
There is no Pass/Fail.
Your results are reported in four bands.
How long will it take to get your results?
TKT results are issued to your centre approximately two weeks after the Cambridge English Language Assessment receives the answer sheets.
